Gnoll, You Were Glorious

Three weeks on and we’re still talking about it. Our very first Big Food Festival at Gnoll Park was everything we hoped for and more, and trust us, we had high hopes.

Thousands of you showed up across the weekend, ready to eat, dance, drink, and (despite the odd bit of drizzle) have an absolute blast. And you did not disappoint. From Friday night right through to Sunday, the vibes were strong, the community spirit was unreal, and the food? Let’s just say stretchy trousers were 100% the right choice.

We had over 15 handpicked food traders on site, no repeats, no boring options. Whether you were in the mood for Afghan wraps, hot dogs, pizza, poutine or something sweet, you found it. And probably went back for seconds. Or thirds.

Our bar was buzzing all weekend (AU Vodka Cocktails and Tiny Rebel Craft Beer, anyone?) and the entertainment brought the energy, from DJs and live music to our magician floating around doing what can only be described as wizardry. There were bracelets being made, faces being painted, and kids running around on a total joy high.

A massive thank you to our incredible traders, our superstar volunteers, our supportive partners (shoutout to Gnoll Country Park, what a backdrop), and to you lot for showing up, spreading the word, and making it such a good time.

We’ve already got next year in the works, same place, same weekend: last weekend of June, 26th to the 28th June 2026 .

So save the date. The Gnoll has officially earned its spot on the foodie map, and we’re only just getting started.
